I
really had fun with this months challenge. I have not used Pink for some time and how lucky that my little granddaughter had her concert just recently and she was a 'Sugar Plum Fairy'. Great chance to use some pink. I cheated a little and used background papers for 'handwriting'
just for a little variation.
I flicked some white paint around the layout and had to cut the picture out as there was so much background 'junk' and then mounted the pic on some light tulle. It was lots of fun putting it all together, so hope you can join in once again this month.......Liz
I've gone very dramatic with this layout. I used a background paper which featured pink but was quite dark. I applied pink paint to brighten it up. The photo is of a samba dancer hence the coloured title.
For my handwriting, I used a quote. The buttons are a bright crimson, despite them looking red on here.
Continuing on my theme of using up older paper lines and supplies that have been sitting in my stash mostly unused, this month I pulled out a white Adirondack Lights paint dauber which I used to paint the edges of my base paper. To this I added a few project life cards, a couple of pieces of patterned paper from my offcuts box and a paper doily and set to work ( I even found some very old Basic Grey feltees in a bottom draw).
Hope you can find time to play along with us this month.
thanks for looking,
Jane xx
