November Challenge

Welcome to our first Bickie Tin challenge!!

We are aiming at keeping things very simple and relaxed here, scrapping for the fun of it, relaxed ideas to keep your mojo ticking along.  Each month we will have 3 requirements, and you are open to creating anything you wish, a scrap page, a set of cards, mixed media item or OTP item... As long as we can see the basic requirements it's all good!

3 requirement to inspire you as you wish.......... there are no other rules!

Well no that's not true, there are 2 rules:
  • All images are copyrighted to whom posted them, don't use without permission.
  • Be nice
Create a layout, a set of 3 cards or any OTP item you wish!

This month's requirements are;
  • Include the colour Red - a little or lot, it's up to you
  • Add a Die-cut
  • Have a torn edge or two
Upload to via our Linky and/or to our Facebook album.

Check out what our Creative Team came up with...

Liz Hocking:

How exciting to be part of this new inspirational blog.  I hope you will make a cuppa and perhaps grab a Bickie or 2 and see what the team has created for you to enjoy.

I thought this was a good opportunity to get ahead of the game and create some cards ready for Christmas.
I made a set of 3 to get started.

Here is a closer look for you of each card.  I mostly used some Kaisercraft die cuts, along with some bling and teamed with some ribbon and bling.

For this card, I tore a little corrugated cardboard for a little different with a die-cut from Kaiser.
For my next card, I used a little leftover Prima paper that I had in my stash, along with a Kaiser Reindeer die-cut and the love bauble.

I hope that you have enjoyed this little inspiration and that you will join in the fun.   Until next time, Happy scrapping/cardmaking

Super thrilled to be part of this new venture.

For our first challenge I thought I might take the opportunity of using up some old supplies from my stash - does anyone remember Hambly Screen Print transparencies?  I have a small pile of these – they are so old the company is no longer in existence so I may well be overdue in using one!  To these, I have added a rose die cut and paper from a rather dated Prima collection and did some edge tearing and bending.  I am very happy with the result. Hope this might inspire you to get out those older supplies and reduce that stash.

thanks for looking,
Jane xx

Hi everyone. I've made a layout.
I had 2 matching papers in different colours that went with the theme of the wedding; red and turquoise.
The die cuts are the corner covers on the bottom photo.

That's all for this month
Julene

Have fun everyone.. Looking forward to seeing your creations!
