  • Colours -Blue -2 different shades.  Use as little or as much as you like.
  • Add an Angle to your page
  • Use a Die-Cut.
And here are our Creative Team pages to inspire you...

Hi Liz here with some more inspiration.  Loving the Blues in the 'Something Blue' Collection from Uniquely and perfect for this month's inspiration. ' I put the lighter blue page on an angle. Teamed with a hand made 'washi' tape flower.

Thanks for taking the time to look and cannot wait to see what you do come up with.  Until next time.
Happy Scrapping.   Liz

Used two shades of blue, angled my photo slightly and added in a number of die cuts to document a page for our Tasmania holiday album from a few years ago.

Hope you will find some time to join in with us this month.

April Inspirations

Welcome to our April inspiration...

This month our inspirations are;
  • Colours - Pink & White.  Use as little or as much as you like.
  • Add a Flower or two
  • Use a stamp.
And here are our Creative Team pages to inspire you...

LIZ

Hello and welcome, this month I embraced 'flowers',  I do not like using them too much, but thought I would not hold back doing my layout  :)

I only used a little pink, which are the bling crystals, white background which is a soft tissue, not sure the exact name for it, little word stamp and of course lots of flowers.

I hope you join in the fun this month and thanks for taking the time to look, until next time.....happy scrapping,
 Liz

I love white space - that's no secret so I have created a simple layout yet following the criteria. I've used a background stamp to create an area under my photo which normally would be patterned paper.

Hope you will find some time to join in with us this month.

March Inspirations

Welcome to our March inspiration

This month inspirations are;
  • Colours - Green.  Use as little or as much as you like.
  • Add a Circle
  • Use some Ink
And here are our Creative Team pages to inspire you...

LIZ

Hello Crafting bloggers,

Today I have used my new 3 Quarter Design paper, Dejavu Collection.  It is amazing.   I used a little green  (a little hard to see in this photo) a bit of a dull day at home) and inked my old cardboard rolls (various sizes) to add some more circles.  I just love how it all turned out and just have to wait for the right photo.

Thanks for taking the time to look and trust that you are inspired by this month's criteria.  Until next time. happy scrapping.......Liz.

I decided this could be a great opportunity to use up a lot of little scraps of green paper I had in my stash and proceeded to punch circles to create my page and used a number of small embellishments to add some interest.  My background is distress ink and a stencil which I think is rather effective.

Hope you will find some time to join in with us this month.

thanks for looking,
Jane xx

                                                                          JULENE

I cut the centre out of the Ruby Rock-it circle.
Using distress ink through a mask I added small circles to my background.
There is also ink stamped butterflies on the tag.
Lastly, I fussy cut some almost circular flowers and added them near the top.
Hope our layouts inspire you. :)

February Inspirations

This month inspirations are;
  • Colours - Red/Pink... One or both. Use as little or as much as you like.
  • Add a heart.
  • Use a stencil
And here are our Creative Team pages to inspire you...

Hello it's Liz here and welcome everyone to our New Year and hopefully you will find lots of inspiration here.

Today I have used Pink just a little and I combined the heart and stencil together.

Thanks for taking the time to look. Until next time......Happy scrapping

JANE

I've combined both red and pink and gone all out with the heart theme using them as patterned paper and embellishments.  I've used a pink ink pad and stencil to create a background.

I used a stencil and red paint to create my hearts. They're rather chubby hearts as the pain was runny.
There's also tiny hearts on the yellow strip across the lower secton.

Hope you can play along with us this month.

December Inspiration

Welcome to our December's inspiration

This month inspirations are;
  • Colours - Silver and/or Gold.  Use as little or as much as you like.
  • Add a Bow.  Paper or ribbon
  • Use a stamp.
And here are our Creative Team pages to inspire you...

Julene has been doing layouts about bands that influenced her taste in music. This silver toned photo was perfect for this layout about the Supremes.
The stamp is small and  subtle and her ribbon came wrapped around a gift box.

Hello everyone, Liz here to share my take on this month's challenge.  We hope you can join in the fun this month.

I have used some gold ribbon, baubles and paper.  I have stamped some flourish on the gold paper.  Now my layout is ready for a xmas photo of the grandkids, well fingers crossed lockdown has ended by then.  Take care and stay safe everyone and keep enjoying doing your scrapping... Love Liz

Well finding a bow was somewhat of a challenge - you'd think in a stash my size there would be a bow, any bow, somewhere now wouldn't you but it took some deep digging to find one and then it turned out to be blue.  So what to do?  Find some gold and blue patterned paper so it co-ordinates of course!

I've added in some gold stamping and a few puffy starbursts, enamel dots and blue rhinestones.  I think it has come together rather nicely!

Hope you can play along with us this month.

November Inspiration

Welcome to our November's inspiration

This month inspirations are;

  • Colours: Purple & Grey
  • Add a button
  • Use a border punch

And here are our Creative Team pages to inspire you...

LIZ

Hello to everyone,

Well as Purple is my favourite colour, I could not wait to get started on this Challenge.   I had some new Christmas papers which incorporate these colours, so perfect for this Challenge.

So in readiness for xmas photos, this is my layout.   The cupboard doors are actually grey, I sanded them off a bit and then added 3 buttons.   I used my 'fence' border punch . When I add the photo, I will then cut a space in the plastic album sleeve for the doors to open, so it becomes an interactive page for the grandchildren.

I hope you will join in the fun this month and thanks for taking the time to look.  Until next time....Happy Scrapping.....Liz

JULENE

This challenge gave me a few initial problems. I had no border punch so used a flower punch to create a border along the side of the photo.The grey background piece is recycled packaging from a recent perfume I bought. It is corrugated card so I was able to keep the punched out flowers to add on my layout. I had plenty of buttons so used several on this. No title, I don't think it is needed.

I have very, very little purple based patterned paper so needed to resort to supplementing what I did have in scraps with solid cardstock along with using spray ink to create a purple based background on my white cardstock.  The grey I have used as border strips, two punched and two straight cut as well as as a mat for my photo.

Hope you can play along with us this month.

October Inspiration

Welcome to our October inspiration

This month requirements are;

  • Colours: Orange & Black
  • Add a fussy cut item
  • Layer your photo(s)

And here are our Creative Team pages to inspire you...

Julene has used black doileys which she cut down to size as they were full dinner plate sized doileys. She has layered those with the photo between.

I pulled out all the orange and black patterned paper I had in my scrap basket and layered them together.  My edges are washi tape and I fussy cut two butterflies from patterned paper and used this adorable photo of my daughter's calico kitten - how fortuitous Miss Tilly happens to be black, white and orange !!

thanks for looking,
Jane xx

Hi everyone, hope you are all doing ok in lockdown, whichever stage you are at.  Here in Melbourne we are in Stage 4 which on a positive note has given me more time for scrapbooking.   I am fortunate to have lots of holiday and grandchildren photos to work on.  I hope that you will be inspired by my layout.

I have had this Graphic 45 Collection for sometime and lucky I had the orange background paper and was able to us a few different black strips.  I fussy cut the girls and then set them on foam tape.  At present I do not have a suitable photo, but used a picture from the collection which I love.  At some point I will mount a photo to it.  Thanks for taking the time to look.  Until next time.....happy scrapping.  Liz

September Inspiration

Welcome to our September inspiration

This month inspirations are;

  • Colours: Green & White
  • Add splatters
  • Add a die-cut

And here are our Creative Team pages to inspire you...

Good day to you all and trust all is going well.  This challenge seemed to make me be a bit adventurous and play around with some paint.  I have created a 'non-traditional' school photo layout and was very pleased with the results.

Paint splatters courtesy of Kaiser Green spray teamed with Gold which appears a little green/gold and I just love the die-cut that a friend did for me some time ago Live Laugh Love.  Thank you for taking the time to look and hope you can join in.

Until next time.....Happy scrapping.....Liz

                                                         ********************

Julene has used a green background and added red splatters to her layout of the Mandalay hotel in Las Vegas. The remainder of her items, including the die cuts are from Kaisercraft "Chapter One" range.

This month I have had a ramble down memory lane and pulled out some left over kits items from Jillibean Soup - I've always loved their bright, happy colours which are perfect for a playful boys page.

I added green ink splatters to my white cardstock and included some very cute Monster Stew journaling sprouts also from Jillibean soup.

Hope you can play along with us this month.

August Inspiration

Welcome to our August inspiration

This month inspirations are;

  • Colours: Grey & Yellow
  • Distressing
  • Add a heart

And here are our Creative Team pages to inspire you...

Julene had some old polaroids from a holiday long ago.
She used a plaid background of grey and yellow, then distressed another layer behind her title. She has used yellow heart brads to hold that centre paper.

Hello fellow Scrappers,

For this challenge I have used a grey base with fencing and hearts, then topped with some distressed lime/yellow cardstock, which I thought perfect and certainly matched the photos.  This was a fun page to create and hope that you will join in the fun.

Until next time ,  Happy Scrapping   Liz

A simple page this month again using up some older pieces from my stash where I happened upon a grey and yellow heart patterned paper (yay bonus!) I used along with a couple of "yet to scrap" photos from my files.

I distressed the edges of the kraft cardstock and yellow paper and lightly inked them as well then added in some enamel dots and two tiny heart stickers.

Jane xx

July's Inspiration...

Welcome to our July inspiration

This month inspirations are;

  • Colours: Black & Blue
  • Add a string
  • Add a tag

And here are our Creative Team pages to inspire you...

LIZ
A very good day to you all and hope all is well in your world.  This month I decided to have a little fun and tried a different technique to help you along.

I decided to make an actual 'tag' for the challenge and covered it with new blue crackly paint.  Then some stamping and some string/raffia.

Thanks for taking the time to look and hope you can join in the fun.
Until next time....happy scrapping........Liz

Julene has made a card this time around.
Her string and Tags are the tiny banners on top left.

This month I pulled out my 6x6 paper pads and selected papers from amongst these. I created my tags myself from smaller pieces and used back cardstock as my base.

TIP
If you want your paper longer and you know some of it will be covered completely by photos or other patterned paper anyway, just cut it in half and move it down like I have done with my backing paper -  it is 6x6 but cut and moved it creates the illusion it is a much larger piece.

Hope to see all your layouts in our gallery.

Happy scrapping,
Jane

June Inspiration

Welcome to our June inspiration

This month requirements are;

  • Colours: Black & White
  • Add a banner
  • Doodle

And here are our Creative Team pages to inspire you...

Hi fellow Scrappers,  lots of time to be scrapping, crafting and probably some cooking like me I hope.

For you today I have created this layout using this month's requirements.

As you can see used white cardstock and sprayed some black ink and did some stencil work in black also.  Then backed my photo with some doodling and a banner.  Thanks for taking the time to look.

Until next time happy scrapping......Liz

                                                         ***************
Julene has been to Las Vegas in the past few years, so chose a photo of the Luxor casino.

She layered a geometric black and white print on plain white then on the background featuring flourishes. She has continued those with some doodling.

This month I decided to delve into my stash of project life cards along with the off cuts of patterned paper I keep in a A4 plastic page protector to source some black and white for my page.

I've used an older vintage black and white photo and have run vertical lines alongside the edges of the cards in black pen to frame the space of the blocks.  I have created a little banner on my title card.  Black rhinestones and white enamels dots finish it all off.

Hope to see all your layouts in our gallery.

Happy scrapping,
Jane

May Challenge

Welcome to our May Challenge...

Create a layout, a set of 3 cards or any OTP item you wish!

This month's requirements are;

  • The colour GREEN  (as little or as much as you like)
  • Add some STRING
  • Use A STENCIL/MASK
And here are our Creative Team pages to inspire you!

JULENE

I used 2 different stencils, one with paint and one with ink.
The chipboard leaves have liquid pearls to look like ice.
The title is a made up word :)

                                                                                    LIZ

Loved the challenge this month.  Used the opportunity to try a layout that I had been wanting to do for quite some time.

It was hard to get a good photo showing the Green cardstock, as it is a really light shade.  I stamped my clock stencil, and used the string as a border.

Until next time .....happy scrapping   Liz

This month I have gone with a very retro feel to showcase a (dare I say it) retro photo.

TIP
This green background paper has been in my stash for a very long time and is the thin paper variety - a clear indication of its age.  To give the paper more stability I adhered it to a piece of card stock from my stash in a ghastly colour I knew I would never use.

Hope to see all your layouts in our gallery.

Happy scrapping,

Jane

April Challenge

Welcome to our April Challenge...

This month's requirements are;

The colour Yellow - as little or as much as you like!
Add some Misting
Do some Embossing

And here are our CT pages....
Liz

Glad you can join us again this month for our new challenge.  I had a lot of fun playing with this one as you will see.

 I did use the colour yellow, firstly with some patterned paper and then some yellow and pink misting.  I also used some embossed cardstock and then did some heat embossing   for on my title.  Here is a close up for you to see.

And finally the end result.  Thanks for taking the time to look and good luck joining in the fun.  Liz

                                                                    Julene
After seeing the band, Queen recently, I'm scrapping several pages about that.
Of course, Freddie Mercury wasn't there, but he was projected up on a giant screen wearing his famous yellow jacket at Wembley 1986 concert.

My paper was a birthday candle and cake paper, but I managed to disguise that by placement of mists and photo mats. I used swiss dot dry embossing.

I love using yellow so this was a good opportunity to do a bright and happy layout of some cute school memories for my son - gosh this was Kindergarten and he's now at University so a little overdue I think.

I am using yet another older paper range - this one from Theresa Collins and I've added in some embossed card behind the photo.

Hope to see all your layouts in our gallery.

Happy scrapping,
Jane
